Integration of Legacy Tenants with Webex Organization ID

The legacy Webex Connect tenants or tenants that were manually onboarded (or not via Cisco Partners) much earlier were integrated with Webex Organisation ID to enhance functionality and user experience, starting with Canada, Sydney, and Singapore regions on January 29th.

The legacy tenants are inclusive of the following:

  • Global Pricing List (GPL) standalone
  • Non-GPL standalone
  • Wholesale
  • CCBU

The integration of legacy tenants with Webex Organization ID is being executed so that newer features such as enablement of SSO login, integration with AI features such as AI Agent, interoperability with CCaaS, and minimisation of manual intervention is made possible.

An automation tool will be executed in the backend such that the onboarding activity is simulated for all legacy tenants and a Webex Organisation ID is created for the respective tenant. The tenant users will then receive an email notification to follow UI instructions. The tenant users will then be able to cross-launch into the Webex Connect platform from the Control Hub portal.

The integration of legacy tenants with the Webex Org ID will be executed in a phased manner such that phase 1 will include the aforementioned regions and the remaining regions will be executed in upcoming phases for which an advance notification will be communicated.
