Deprecation of Legacy TLS Protocols for Webex Connect APIs

As part of ongoing security enhancements, Webex Connect is deprecating support for legacy TLS protocols
(1.0 and 1.1) and adopting a stricter security policy, ELBSecurityPolicy-TLS13-1-2-Res-2021-06 on all the
inbound API connection. This policy supports only modern TLS protocols (1.2 and 1.3) and the following
approved cipher suites:

  • TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384
  • TLS_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256
  • ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256
  • ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256
  • ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384
  • ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384

This change will impact all systems and integrations that call Webex Connect's public or exposed APIs. Any
inbound connections to the platform using deprecated TLS versions or unsupported cipher suites must be
updated to ensure uninterrupted API connectivity.
